Ulric Wilfred Wilkie, born June 19, 1929 passed away on August 14, 2017 survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Flor Maria Wilkie; siblings, Marjorie, Angela, Lancelot, Anne, Helen, and Aloma; children Nelson, Willie, Henry, Millie, Ulric, Carlucho, Lillie, Jaime, Brian, 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and a tremendously loving extended family spanning 8 countries worldwide. Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Ulric moved to Venezuela during the oil boom of the 1950's where he found Flor and fell in love beginning his life's journey of building family, friends, and home. He worked his way up to a Senior Executive of Finance for Owens-Illinois where he worked for 25 years. The family then relocated to Long Island, NY where Ulric worked for Parker Hannifin for 12 years. Throughout their lives together, Ulric and Flor enjoyed travels through the Americas, Europe and Asia, sharing culture, food and fun. He and Flor then retired to St. Cloud, Florida. Throughout Ulric's life, his passion for cooking, baking and Dominoes brought family together at the table, breaking bread and sharing laughter, love and memories that built traditions that have passed down generations. His legacy of recipes are a treasured gift, not only of memories, but of flavors that transport his family to younger days of music, dancing and celebration. Nacido en Puerto España, Trinidad y Tobago, Ulric se trasladó a Venezuela durante el boom petrolero de los años cincuenta, donde encontró a Flor y se enamoró comenzando el viaje de su vida para construir una familia, buenos amigos y un buen hogar. Ulric Wilfred Wilkie, 88, of Saint Cloud, passed away on August 14, 2017 in St. Cloud, FL. He was born on June 19, 1929 to Jaime and Panchita (Attalle) in Trinidad and Tabago. He was preceded in death by his father, Jaime Wilkie and his mother, Panchita Attalle. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 PM, at Fisk Funeral Home & Crematory, 1107 Massachusetts Avenue, St. Cloud, FL. 34769 Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM, at the funeral home.
