Clara Worena Kirkpatrick

Clara Worena Marston Witham Kirkpatrick (Worena), 81, of Saint Cloud, Florida (winter home) and Windham, Maine (summer home), passed away peacefully, in her winter home, on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Worena was born the middle child of Charles and Greta Marston on December 23, 1932. She graduated Catholic High School and attended some college. She married Stanley L. Witham in 1953 and the union bore three children. Worena owned businesses throughout her life; managed offices for others and worked for the US Post Office. Widowed, she married Earl M. Kirkpatrick in 1979. Worena and Earl had their own business, which was comprised of real estate sales/rentals/mobile home parks. At age 55, she and Earl semi-retired and traveled extensively with family and friends throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada, Caribbean, Central America, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, Turkey, Greece and Egypt. Worena was known for her business savvy, wisdom and ability with managing investments. For many years, Worena was an officer with the New England Club of St. Cloud, FL. She enjoyed square dancing, hosting family dinners, mentoring others and was an avid bridge card player. She will be missed by many people. Worena is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Earl M. Kirkpatrick of Saint Cloud, FL/Windham, ME; Six children: Barbara W. Stoll and husband, Scott, of St. Cloud, FL, Charles S. Witham and wife, Anne, of Norway, ME, Pamela W. AveryWitham and her partner, Cynthia of Scarborough, ME, Gayle L. Crawford of St. Cloud, FL, Barbara McBrearty and husband, Richard, of NJ, and Robert Kirkpatrick and his wife, Sharon of Westbrook, ME.; twelve grandchildren: Amanda Stoll, Aurora Witham Harmon, Kate Vail, Joshua Charlton Witham, Emmy Worena AveryWitham, Sharron McTaggart, Patrick Crawford, Jennifer Triechter, Laren McBrearty, Kyle Kirkpatrick, Scott Kirkpatrick, Nicole Kirkpatrick; a sister, Mary Austin of St Cloud, FL/Augusta, ME; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by first husband, Stanley L. Witham; mother, Greta W. Marston; father, Charles N. Marston; and brother, William Cook.
