William T. Graham

October 21, 1923 - April 15, 2018

William T. Graham William T. Graham passed away on April 15, 2018 at the age of 94. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 21, 1923. He served on a Target Boat in the US Navy during World War II. He will be buried at the National Cemetery with military honors. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Esther, and children; Melissa Graham (R. Douglas) Chappell, Gary T. Graham, Randolph (Marvel) Delliveniri, Michael (Brenda) Delliveniri; nieces Nancy (Sam) Willingham and Marilyn L. King; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. William was predeceased by parents Thomas R. Graham, Mayme J. Graham; Nancy G. Breecker, sister; Mildred W. Graham, wife; Alfred Delliveniri, son. He was a long time business owner of Saint Cloud Hardware. During WW II the U.S. Navy selected him to attend the R.O.T.C. program at Princeton University. He was educated at Princeton University and General Motors Institute (Kettering University). After graduating in 1949 he moved his family to Bass Lake, Ohio and went to work as an Industrial Engineer at General Motors. In 1954 he moved his family to Florida where he entered into partnership with his father and owned and operated the Saint Cloud Hardware Store. During the 1950’s and 1960’s William was active in many community organizations i.e., President of the Saint Cloud Jaycees, Worthy Patron of the Order Of The Eastern Star #46, The Grand Lodge Of Free and Accepted Masons Of Florida and American Legion. He was a Saint Cloud Volunteer Firefighter, Emergency Responder and helped to operate the first rescue boat used at the Saint Cloud Lakefront. William loved the outdoors and spending time with his family. After selling the Saint Cloud Hardware he enjoyed traveling with his wife Ruth throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. He was the happiest when at home and surrounded by his extended family. Family and close friends are invited to share in the ‘Celebration of Life’ at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Chisholm Park, Pavilion D, Saint Cloud, Florida.
