Lana Danielle Fellows

On November 24th, 2024, Lana Danielle Fellows was reunited with her loved ones in heaven, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her. At just 19 years old, Lana tragically passed away in a car accident near her home in St. Cloud, Florida. She is deeply mourned by her loving parents, Robert and Megan Fellows, as well as countless friends, family members, and teachers who cherished her kind heart, vibrant spirit, and unwavering determination. Lana was a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, equal rights, and the importance of being one's true self, no matter how unconventional or goofy that may seem. As a proud member of the aerial arts and dance communities, she achieved remarkable success, including a national title and four state championships. More than just a champion, she was a mentor and role model to younger aerialists, always encouraging them to push boundaries and embrace their own potential. Lana's dream was to make a difference in the world through entrepreneurship. While studying at William & Mary in Virginia, she was already leaving her mark on campus, involved in several student organizations and excited to be a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, the business fraternity. Her ambition and passion for helping others through her future ventures were palpable, and she was poised to do incredible things. Born on August 6, 2005, in Ohio, Lana grew up in Florida and found her home in Virginia. She had an unwavering love for the simple beauties of life—watching sunsets, appreciating art and poetry, creating thoughtful gifts, and caring deeply for animals, often going out of her way to help strays in need. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Lana’s light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of everyone she touched. She would want those she left behind to live their lives with passion and purpose, just as she did. One of her favorite quotes was, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.” And while she may no longer be bound by gravity, we take comfort in knowing she is soaring high, her spirit free.
