(include “Jantz Memorial” in the memo line) Jantz was greatly loved & adored by all, his kindness & charisma had a lasting impact on everyone he ever met. He was a one of a kind soul, with a warm tender heart for everyone around him. Willing to give you the shirt off his back, even if it was his only one. Naturally fearless his smile & adventurous eyes always left you wondering what he was thinking, & he was always thinking! Jantz was born in Monroe, WI. His childhood & teen years he lived in Stockton, Freeport, & Loves Park, IL. He graduated from Roosevelt High School, Rockford Il in 2012. Jantz was a hard worker & loved to use his hands, he worked for the Labor Union setting up for venues in various cities across the United States. He was well known for his thoughtfulness and respect at work and was a first choice by his managers because of his reliability. Jantz’ real passion however was to be on an adventure, he was most at home sleeping under the stars or on a train he had hitched a ride on. He could never pass up an adventure and loved to share wonderful stories of Gods beautiful creations across this land. He was an amazing artist, musician, brother, son, friend, traveling partner, kindred soul, or with you as you needed him to be. We lost our beloved Jantz to mental illness. As his family we tried to support him in any way we could, as did so many of his friends. We are thankful for each and every one who loved Jantz through his struggles and know that you too, were there for him and did the very best you could. Jantz is survived by his parents Rodney and Mary Wedel and Erin Dia Bell. His sisters, Jaedra Wedel, Joelle Sautter, (Ben) and Jeanine Holland, his brothers Nathan Holland (Sally) and Caleb Holland. His Grandparents, Gerald and Joyce Wedel, and his many loving, uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and niece. He was preceded in death by his grandparents George Ulrich Bell and Sherry Bell. If you are struggling with depression, or thinking of hurting yourself know that you are loved and help is available. Please reach out to our family, your family or a church.
