James Dexter Roope, 68, of Saint Cloud, passed away on November 1, 2017. He was born on April 26, 1949 to Archie and Lena (Jenkins) Roope in Asheboro, NC. James is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Virginia Roope; four step-children: Giovanni Barchisi of Sarasota, FL., Freddie Kitzmiller and wife Andria of Cocoa, FL., Tina Nichols and husband Dana of Viro Beach, FL., and Randy Kitzmiller and wife Sharri of St. Cloud, FL; and nine step-grandchildren. James loved his family, fish and play cards. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
