Edmond Dean Pennington II, a heavy equipment mechanic and lifelong resident of Kissimmee, FL, died unexpectedly on February 11, 2018 at the age of 52 at his home. He was born in Orlando, FL. on June 10, 1965. Ed is survived by his parents, Edmond Pennington and Effie Pennington; his children, Amanda (Pennington) spouse Derek Richard O’Connell and Colton (Pennington) spouse Raul Zuniga; his granddaughter Lilyanna AnnMarie O’Connell; his siblings, sisters Carol Pennington, Linda (Matt) Jaworski, Debbie (Pennington) Garcia, and brother Dan Pennington; eight nephews and nieces and thirteen great nephews and nieces. Ed worked for ten years at Kissimmee Utility Authority, then worked with Baker Hydraulics traveling the country as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, before his death he was employed with John Madison Landscape as their Lead Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the past 10 years. Ed was a loving father, a giving friend, and a gentle giant that was always “on his way” to help anyone that needed his skills, and we all knew he could fix “anything”. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him. A celebration of life is scheduled for Friday, February 16, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm at Kissimmee Sports Arena located at 1010 Suhls Lane, Kissimmee, FL. 34741.
