Ronald J. Blais passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 24th, 2021, in Saint Cloud, FL. Ronnie was 77 years old, born December 9th, 1943, in Norwood, MA. On June 18th, 1977, he married the love of his life, Linda Marzano. Ronnie worked in the construction business all of his life and was a proud independent business owner for the last 20 years. Ronnie and Linda started their life together in Hingham, Massachusetts, but later moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 1984. In 2005, Ronnie and Linda moved to Saint Cloud as they lived out their dream to design and build their own home. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ronnie is survived by Linda and their three children, son Brett Blais and his wife Donna Bowden, daughter Christina James (Blais) and her husband Jason James, and daughter Denise Havlice (Blais) and her husband Christopher Havlice. Ronnie is also survived by his five grandchildren, Krystal Ashley Blais, Owen Thomas Havlice, Noah Blais James, Hudson Brett Havlice, and Arianna Angel James. Ronnie was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather, and a dear friend to so many. He loved going to work every day, working in his yard for endless hours, doing odd jobs to improve his home and property, watching NASCAR races and rooting for his favorite drivers, and spending time hanging out with his family and friends. Ronnie was a relentlessly hard worker and perfectionist. Stories of his work ethic and demand for perfect results were legendary in his career. He believed in a hard day’s work, a person’s word, fairness, and believed if you wanted anything you had to work for it. He and Linda shared these values and passed them on to their children and grandchildren. A small Memorial Gathering in Remembrance and Celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held outdoors on Saturday, January 30th, 2021, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Ronnie and Linda’s home, 5109 Jack Brack Rd, St. Cloud, FL, 34771. The Chaplain will initiate a small ceremony with a prayer at 2:00PM, followed by an open forum of those who wish to speak in remembrance of Ronnie. The family kindly requests that all those in attendance wear a mask and social distance where appropriate for the protection and consideration of all in attendance.
