Pedro Carrazana Sr.

Pedro Carrazana passed away quietly on Friday October 15 at 4:30 p.m. He was in the company of the people that loved and cared for him, until the moment he went to join his wife Flor and be with our Heavenly Father. He is survived by his loving son Pedro Jr. and family. As well as his siblings Juan and Dalia, nieces, and nephew. We will all miss him greatly. He was born in Vueltas, Cuba on September 12, 1929. In Cuba he fell in love with and married Flor, a that lasted more than 60 years. Always together. In New York they began their new life. They raised a son, worked hard and was like a father to his nieces and nephew. Pedro financially helped many family members leave Cuba and start over to make better lives for themselves in the US. He was a founding member of the very first Hispanic church in Kissimmee and helped build that church brick by brick. He was a very disciplined man in life and also in faith. He had a love for landscaping and retired from Disney doing the very thing he loved. The bible verse, 2 Timothy: 4 is a tribute of how Pedro lived his life until the very end. “For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day”. Pedro Carrazana falleció en silencio el viernes 15 de Octubre a las 4:30 p. m. Estuvo en compañía de las personas que lo amaban y cuidaban, hasta el momento en que fue a unirse a su esposa Flor y a nuestro Padre Celestial. Le sobrevive su amoroso hijo Pedro Jr. y familia. Así como sus hermanos Juan y Dalia, sobrinas y sobrinos. Todos lo extrañaremos mucho. Nació en Vueltas, Cuba el 12 de Septiembre de 1929. En Cuba se enamoró y se casó con Flor, una que duró más de 60 años. Siempre juntos. En Nueva York comenzaron su nueva vida. Criaron a un hijo, trabajaron duro y fueron como un padre para sus sobrinas y sobrinos. Pedro ayudó financieramente a muchos miembros de la familia a salir de Cuba y comenzar de nuevo a mejorar sus vidas en los Estados Unidos. Fue miembro fundador de la Primera Iglesia Hispana en Kissimmee y ayudó a construir esa iglesia ladrillo por ladrillo. Fue un hombre muy disciplinado en la vida y también en la fe. Tenía un amor por el paisajismo y se retiró de Disney haciendo lo mismo que amaba. El versículo bíblico, 2 Timoteo: 4 es un tributo de cómo Pedro vivió su vida hasta el final. "Porque ya estoy siendo derramado como una ofrenda de bebida, y ha llegado el momento de mi partida. He peleado la buena pelea, he terminado la carrera, he mantenido la fe. Ahora hay reservada para mí la corona de justicia, que el Señor, el Juez justo, me concederá en ese día".
