Michelle "Shelly" Benoit

Michelle Lynn (Bailey-Norman) Benoit, age 53, peacefully passed away July 16th, 2018, at her home in St. Cloud, Florida. She was born June 19, 1965, in Norristown, Pennsylvania. She was the beloved daughter of Barbara and Robert Bailey. Shelly was an inspiration to all who knew her, a perfectionist in everything she did. Always gave 100%, and she fought a valiant battle to the very end. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh would light up an entire room. There was never a dull moment when Shelly was around. Shelly brought smiles to everyone around her and she would give you the shirt off her back. She was able to lift your spirits with a single smile or joke, and wanted nothing more than to help all those around her. She had an amazing gift. Shelly was a realtor with a heart, she would rather help someone find their forever home, rather than to swim with "The Big Fish". She loved scuba diving, sky diving, and almost anything that would give her an adrenaline rush. Family and Friends were everything to her. She was the most loving, caring, warm-hearted person you would be privileged to know. A true Christian in all ways, her love of animals, Angel Mae, Freckles, and Big Dog will be missing her forever. Any child would have been blessed to have her as a Mother. Her loving words, wisdom, and unconditional love for her children was clear to everyone. Shelly is survived by her three beloved children, Sons; Thomas K. Norman and Tyler R. Benoit, both of St. Cloud, Florida and daughter, Kristen Harrington of St. Cloud, Florida. Her beloved sisters; Karen M. Mattingly of Louisville, KY, Patricia S. Lockwood (Wayne) of Hamilton, Ohio, and Paula D. Arensman (Richard) of New Albany, Indiana. Her beloved father, Robert T. Bailey (Patricia), and many nieces and nephews. Shelly is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara E. Bailey, and her grandparents. We are all deeply saddened by the loss of our mother, daughter, sister, and friend, but we understand that it was her time to be called home. She was dearly loved and will be forever sorely missed.
