James M. Kelly

James M. Kelly, born January 27, 1938, in Meriden, Connecticut, passed away suddenly on May 19, 2017. He grew up in Springfield, Massachusetts and graduated from Springfield Trade High School. He and wife, Patricia (Arnold) Kelly raised their family in Southington, Connecticut. After retiring from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft, he ultimately resided in Otis, Massachusetts and St. Cloud, Florida. He ran marathons into his late 50's, enjoyed fishing and playing games. He loved nature and animals, especially dogs. He will be greatly missed by his, children and grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews, mostly for his incredible sense of humor, his storytelling, perspective on life, and his great love of family. James is survived by his loving family; wife, Patricia A. Kelly of Saint Cloud, FL; two daughters, Colleen K. (Jeff) Eisenbeiser of Sykesville, MD, Jane E. Pfeifer of Dublin, OH; son, James P. (Cathy) Kelly of Boca Raton, FL; two sisters, Lorraine Young of Branford, CT, Irene M. Kelly of Rochester Hills, MI; four grandsons, Shaun P. (Nicole) Kelly of Wilton Manors, FL, Nick (Ashley) Eisenbeiser of Columbia, MD, Benjamin (Yiliana) Kelly of Port St. Lucie, FL, Erich (Amy) Eisenbeiser of Sykesville, MD; four granddaughters, Katarina (Dennis) Porter of Alexandria, VA, Elisabeth (Joshua) Wynne of Sykesville, MD, Mary (Evan) Pfeifer of Columbia, MD, Maggie Pfeifer of Dublin, OH; step-granddaughter, Sarah Cash of Boca Raton, FL; two great-grandsons, Liam Kelly of Port St. Lucie, FL, James Porter of Alexandria, VA; two great-granddaughters, Skylar Kelly of Port St. Lucie, FL, Alexandra Eisenbeiser of Columbia, MD. He was preceded in death by his parents; John E. and Irene R. Kelly and a brother, Edward B. Kelly.
