James Emory Janney

James Emory Janney, 73, of Saint Cloud, Florida went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 at his residence. Jim was born in Roanoke, Virginia on September 15, 1940, the son of the late Emory James and Elsie Gertrude (Weaver) Janney. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Lynn (Hendricks); daughters, Terri Lynn O'Hara and husband David of Westfir, OR., Becky Sue Wells of Saint Cloud, Leighanne Kisamore and husband Mark also of Saint Cloud; sons, Tim Janney and wife Laura of Saint Cloud, Russel James Janney and wife Emily of Saint Cloud; step-daughter, Danñe Parker and husband David of Clifton Park, NY; step-son, Blake Herlick, Jr., and wife Kerri of Saratoga Springs, NY. Jim had 27 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren: Cory Sabia; Pamela Sabia and her children Ayden, Cody, and Erin; Raymond (Dani) O'Hara; David Ryan O'Hara; Rachael Starkweather (Zack);Tommy Collins and son Joseph; Morgan Janney; Ryan Janney; Allison Janney; Kyle Wells; Cameron Wells; Kacey Wells; Griffen Kisamore; Kendall Kisamore; Garrett Kisamore; Robin Janney; Madeline Janney; Matthew Parker; Timothy Parker; Elizabeth Adams (Ethan);Rebekah Parker; Kaitlyn Parker; Christiana Parker; John Parker; Tucker Jameson (Courtney) and daughter Aribella; Ashley Jameson and son Colin; and Sabrina Herlick. He loved every one of them and took great joy in his family. Jim is also survived by brothers, Ronnie Janney and son Jason; and Donnie Janney (Roseland) and sons Patrick and Vincent. Sister-in-law Sheri Lee (Bob) and his mother-in law Vesta "Tiny" Hendricks. Jim worked as a manager at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for 42 years 1 month and 2 days. He loved the people he worked with and enjoyed the growth of the visitor center from its inception with just 7 vending machines until he retired on April 17 2009. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8th from 5-9 PM at Fisk Funeral Home, Saint Cloud. Services for James will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, May 9th at the Narcoossee Baptist Church.
