Frances Earley

Frances "Gerty Girt" Earley was born in New York City, where her father was a Furrier. Fran attended school in NYC , where she met and married the love of her life Danny (aka.Danny Boy) (George D. Earley). Fran loved riding horses as a child and into adulthood. She enjoyed her hobbies of playing Mahjong, and doing arts and crafts. Fran attended Mass at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Saint Cloud, Florida with her best friend to the end, LaRene Raulerson. From the late summer through November Fran could be found donating her time making a vast variety of arts and crafts for the Church Bazaar at Saint Thomas Aquinas. From the day the bazaar began, until it was finished Fran would volunteer her time. From hand painted plates, to ceramic figurines and Christmas ornaments, Fran's artistic talent shined through as the items that she made sold quickly at the Church Bazaar. In their earlier years; Fran and husband Danny were entertainers at Wild West City in New Jersey. Wild West City in Netcong NJ, reenacted Dodge City, Kansas in the 1880's. As Belle Starr (the, notorious American outlaw) Fran rode her horse to rob the train, as the sheriff (played by husband Danny) appearing out of nowhere arrives on his horse to save the day. Fran and Danny moved to Florida, where she opened a Trophy shop in Davie! As a conservative member of the Republican Party; Fran proudly cast her vote on election day in the hope that one day American Family Values would return. In the year 2007 at 79 years old Fran went to the movies with her best friend LaRene to see Beowulf; her first 3D movie. Fran and Danny vacationed in Europe: visiting: Frans Greek roots, and Danny's Irish roots. Fran and Danny also traveled to; Germany, France and Italy. One of Fran's fondest memories was meeting Pope John Paul II. Fran was raised Greek Orthodox, and converted to Catholicism when she married Danny. Fran and Danny moved from Davie Florida to Saint Cloud FL. where Fran's beloved Danny passed away in 2001. Fran was a member of The Red Hat Society Kissimmee Florida Chapter. Due to Fran's medical condition, she resided at an ALF in Saint Cloud Florida where she enjoyed visits from her best friend LaRene, Service dog, Sheba, and Therapy dog Jack (Fran's love of animals was easy to see, as she referred to Sheba and Jack as her grand-doggy's). Fran enjoyed sitting in the living room conversing with the other residents of the assisted living facility. On April 16th 2010 Fran enjoyed a four hour evening visit, of telling jokes, reminiscing , laughing with friend LaRene, and petting her grand-doggy Sheba! In the early morning hours of April 17Th 2010 Frances Earley was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Frances passed away peacefully in her sleep. Frances was predeceased by her Beloved Husband George Earley,and loving Son Charlie Earley. Frances is survived by her daughter Katherine Madrigal, grandchildren;eighteen year old Allison Madrigal, five year old Daniella Vidot, and three year old Christian Vidot (all of Polk County,Florida), her best friend LaRene Raulerson, and grand-doggy's Sheba and Jack!
