Eileen Gaul

Eileen Catherine Gaul, formerly Dunn (Dominick), of Riverview, Florida, passed away after a sudden and brief illness on September 21, 2025, at her daughter Kerri's home in the arms of her loving family. She was 74 years old. Born on October 8, 1950, in Boston, Massachusetts, and a lifelong resident of Stoughton, Massachusetts, Eileen lived a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to her family and faith. She was the beloved wife of Jack Gaul of Riverview, FL, and is survived by her children Michael and Christopher Dunn of Riverview, FL, and Kerri Smart of Kissimmee, Fl along with her favorite son-in-law, whom she refused to call “SIL,” but instead loved like a son—her one and only Smartie. Her cherished grandchildren include Michael and his wife MarySloan of Winter Garden, FL; Kailee and her boyfriend Ashley of Italy, Ashtyn and Brett of Sandwich, MA, and her fiancé Chris Fagnant. Eileen also leaves behind her precious great granddaughter, baby Lyra. Eileen is survived by her two loving brothers Johnny and his wife LaDonna of Raynham, MA, and Teddy and his wife Kathy of Stoughton, MA, along with extended family & friends who will miss her deeply. Eileen is reunited in heaven with her loving parents, Theodore and Adelaide Dominick who preceded her in death. Eileen was the co-owner of Dunn Landscaping in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Later in life, she spent two joyful decades working at The Happiest Place on Earth, where she was honored with the Prestigious Spirit Award—a reflection of the warmth, kindness, and magic she brought to others every day. She was, in the words of her favorite character Mary Poppins, “practically perfect in every way.” A practicing Roman Catholic, Eileen had unwavering faith and trust in God. She found strength in the Lord and joy in the simple moments that made life beautiful. To know Eileen was to love her. With a radiant smile and a heart full of grace, she often reminded others—friends and strangers alike—of what truly matters to “Be happy and healthy, because everything else is a bonus.” Eileen lived by the mottos “Hakuna Matata” and “Just keep swimming". Eileen is now held in the eternal embrace of our Lord and Savior, free of pain, sickness and the burdens of this world. Grant her eternal rest, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. The Prayer of the lowly pierces the clouds; it does not rest till it reaches its goal, nor will it withdraw till the Most High responds - Sirach 35 :21
